My QSO with 185AT/DX, Comoros Islands.

    At the beginning of March 2015, the expedition to the Comoros Islands 185AT/DX, operated by Daniele 1AT057, started. From the very beginning of the expedition, I repeatedly tried to establish QSO with 185AT/DX, but there was no propagation in the southern direction. Sometimes I managed to hear the presence of the station, and receive fragments of phrases. The propagation was terrible all these days, and the opportunity to conduct QSO decreased each time.

   Everything changed on March 24, 2025, when I was once again monitoring the work of the expedition, and then the signal from 185AT/DX suddenly increased to 53, and I immediately decided to take advantage of this, luckily making a call towards Daniele. What a surprise it was to hear a response and confirmation of the QSO, by the way, Daniele works split 5 up. Having conducted a QSO with the Comoros Islands, I received a new 165 DXCC for myself.
