At my station I use a self-made 2 el. Delta Loop antenna. I set myself the task of making a fairly effective and at the same time lightweight design. The antenna elements are made of copper multi-core wire with a diameter of 1.5 mm. The perimeter of the active element is 11.03 meters, and the perimeter of the reflector is 11.60 meters. The distance between the elements is 1.80 meters. The antenna is powered by a coaxial cable RG 58 with a resistance of 50 Ohm, through a section of 75 Ohm coaxial cable 1.80 meters long. These antenna dimensions are designed for 27,500 Mhz. An aluminum pipe with a diameter of 40 mm and a length of 2.10 meters is used as a boom, and inexpensive fiberglass telescopic fishing rods are used as spacers. The design of the antenna is not complicated, and is quite clear from the photographs provided. During operation, this antenna showed good results. With the help of this antenna, many DX QSOs were conducted, and it also withstood quite strong wind loads.
