For several years now I have been using a vertical antenna from the Italian company Sirio GPE 27 5/8 at my station. Sirio products have long been present on the amateur radio market, and have established themselves as manufacturers of various, high-quality antennas. The simple design, easy installation and adjustment of this antenna, as well as its low cost attracted my attention. During operation, the Sirio GPE 27 5/8 showed very good results. Many DX radio communications were conducted with all continents, thanks to the small radiation angles to the horizon of this antenna. In addition, I would like to note the high strength of the antenna design, which withstood heavy wind loads, icing and snowfalls. At the moment, the Sirio GPE 27 5/8 antenna continues its worthy operation at my radio station as a reliable, omnidirectional antenna with good performance.
